Da questa prospettiva, in questo lavoro vengono analizzati due aspetti fondamentali: da un lato la creazione dello spazio fisico, lo spazio geografico che costituiva l’antica Roma, a confronto con l’attuale Europa, in modo che a partire dal antico limes romano si arriva agli attuali confini europei e all area Schengen. D altra parte, si evidenza l importanza e l influenza che il Diritto utilizzato dai romani esercita oggi, la sua ricezione in Europa e la sua proiezione in altri continenti. | The European Union is a reality whose spirit has its origins in ancient Rome. With that pespective, in the current work are analyzed two fundamental aspects: On the one hand the creation of the physical, geographical space, that constituted ancient Rome comparing with today s Europe, so that starting from the ancient Roman limes we arrive at the actual European borders and the Schengen Area.
